Remarkable has launched their first new stylus for their writing slate. It is called the Marker Signature and it is made of aluminum and anodized for a matte black finish. There is a clicker on the top of it, which doesn’t do anything other than an provide an auditory cue. Remarkable is billing it as a feature that will help collect your thoughts. The new stylus can be unscrewed to reveal a tip removal tool and storage for three extra black pen tips.
The stylus is heavier than most and this was by design. The standard weight of the defalt pen is 12g and this new one is 18g. Remarkable wanted this product to be hefty, instead of a cheap stylus, made of plastic. It is currently retailing for $99 and does not come with the purchase of a Remarkable, it is an optional accessory.
