Slick already has an e-reader offering in the budget segment in the form of Slick ER-700 and it is readying another one named Slick ER-701. The 701 was recently spotted at FCC and as it usually is with FCC listings, there aren’t a whole lot of information available of the new e-reader just yet.
However, here are some pointers that can let us have an idea of what to expect in the ER-701; the ER-700 comes with a 7 inch color LCD display with the Kobo e-bookstore acting as the content source. Also, the ER-700 comes at just $80, which means the company’s new offering will be just as cheap. Also, with the new 701, the buttons have been removed to the right side which earlier used to be at the bottom of the display on the original 700. The move though might not be to the liking to left-handers though this is an issue of personal preferences.
Further details are awaited.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
