sony prs-t1

The new Sony PRS-T1 e-reader is available at Sony Style retail outlets in Canada starting today for $169.99! This marks Sony’s first e-reader offerings in 2011 and comes just in time for a competitive holiday season.

The new Sony e-Reader is a departure from previous models because it allows you to access WIFI and shop for ebooks directly on the device. It features a solid touchscreen interface and is stable and robust.

One of the primary benefits of Sony e-readers is that it is a very internationally friendly device! Many e-readers such as the entire Barnes and Noble Nook product line only work in the USA. Whereas the Sony e-readers support tons of languages and allow you to buy books anywhere in the world.

In the Canadian retail sphere, Sony always does well because of the unavailability of most e-readers that are popular in the USA. If you want to walk into a store and buy a device, you are limited to Pandigital, Aluratek, Sony, and Kobo.

Sony Style stores have an extremely limited amount and have promised more in stock in the coming weeks.
