There are plenty of Android Honeycomb options in the 7 inch tablet space of late, though that shouldn’t be the reason for the oldies to retire. Those who invested in the Dell Streak 7 in the USA while it was still running Android 2.2 Froyo can rejoice as they will soon be making it to the Android 3.2 club. Their European counterparts, including those in the UK, have already been updated to the version 3.2 of Android Honeycomb and it’s now the American’s turn to do the same.
So what makes the update so special? Of course the usual Honeycomb goodies are there to be savored in the Streak 7 tablet PC. These include bug fixes and better performance. The Streak 7’s resolution of just 800 x 480 pixels isn’t the best of the lot, but that won’t make the update any less workable as the new Honeycomb version has been designed to be compatible with tablets having lower resolution displays. Along with the upgrade, the Streak 7 Wi-Fis will also be getting a new version of the Dell Stage user interface that boasts of some new widgets.
There is plenty more offered with the the Honeycomb 3.2 upgrade which should be reason enough to bring in the change. So if you haven’t received the official invitation and are impatient to upgrade to Android 3.2 on your own, you can tap your way through Menu >> Settings >> About >> System updates.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
