Welcome to another Good e-Reader Video! Today we take a look at the new Kobo Touch e-reader! This is a six inch IR touchscreen display that has WIFI and allows you to shop for books. Not only can you purchase ebooks via the Kobo store, but also magazines and newspaper subscriptions.
This new unit features a six inch Pearl display and gives you 16 levels of greyscale for a truly suburb resolution. Unlike previous iterations of the Kobo e-reader there is only one button on the physical unit and the rest of the navigation is done via the touchscreen display. It comes with 1 GB of internal memory, but you can further increase it via the Micro SD card. It will read ePub and PDF books so you can feel free to load in your own books you downloaded from the internet or purchased from other book stores.
Stay tuned for our full hands on review and more video reviews.
