Is there a new Nook round the corner? Well, that the hottest debate now raging although there isn’t anything definitive emerging yet that can either confirm or deny this. But then that is not stopping many out there to speculate which isn’t likely to slow down until things unfold at the grand event scheduled to take place at the Union Square store in New York.
As for the current Nook, it was first launched on the 20th of October in 2009 and now, almost exactly a year down the line, we are perhaps on the threshold of another new Nook coming our way. Both Amazon and Sony have thoroughly revamped their e-readers and all of their offerings, the new Kindle, Sony PRS – 350 as well as PRS – 650 – they have turned out to be brilliant devices. Even Kobo too has refreshed its line up with the new Kobo e-reader. All of this makes sense for Barnes & Noble to do their bit, the ultimate culmination of which might be a new Nook. The only significant launch B&N have had since the launch of the Nook was the Wi-Fi only version which was introduced in August.
So let’s keep our fingers crossed and wait for the day to arrive. Thankfully, we won’t have to wait long.
With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
