Amazon is now selling refurbished Kindle Paperwhite 4 e-readers for $119, which is only $10 less than the normal version. This is the latest gen Kindle with a front-lit, Audible support and it is also waterproof. This is the first time that Amazon has made the refurbished units available for this particular model.
The Amazon Paperwhite 4 came out around six months ago and it is quite normal for many people to return the units after using it for a few days or realizing an e-reader is not for them. The vast majority of the e-readers are open boxes and look like new.
The $119 price tag only includes the 8GB version with Special Offers. The 32GB version is not available yet as a refurb.
