Amazon Send to Kindle has faced outage issues over the past 24 hours. The dedicated software for PC or MAC, Send to Kindle for Email, the Chrome Extension, and Kindle for Android do not send Kindle books or EPUB books to any Kindle e-readers, Fire Tablets or apps. When sending books, an error message pops up and states, “A document sent at (date and time) could not be delivered due to a service error. We apologize for the inconvenience; please try again later.”
This is the first time Send to Kindle has faced an outage. Some people have said it has been broken for at least four days, and then it works for a couple of hours and then is broken again. Amazon has not made a statement on its social media accounts nor said anything to customers regarding this issue. Maybe they thought nobody would notice.
