Amazon does business with Foxconn to manufacture their Kindle line of e-readers and this company is operating at around 12% of capacity due to the coronavirus. The first Kindle to have an extended delay of availability is the Kindle Oasis 3. This e-reader is out of stock on almost all models for the next 6-8 weeks. Even the international version of the Oasis 3 is also out of stock, the only version that is available is the 4G/LTE from Vodafone.
The Kindle Oasis 3 is Amazon’s flagship e-reader. It has the largest screen of any of the modern Kindles and has the best tech specs – such as a dual core IMX.7 processor and a color temperature system.
