The Amazon Kindle line of e-readers is the most popular and trusted brand in the United States and the company has not really run many sales in 2019. This is changing the closer we get towards Christmas and today Amazon announced a bevy of discounts on all of their devices.
The new entry level Kindle with an E Ink Carta screen and a front-lit display that was originally released in April is now available for $64.99, which is $25 off the regular price. The Kindle Paperwhite 4 big selling point is that it is waterproof and it is on sale for $89.99 for 8GB model and $114.99 for 32GB edition. If you want to get the 4G/LTE variant of the Paperwhite 4, this is also on sale, you can pick it up for $204, which is a savings of $45.
If you transport your e-reader during your commute, you might want to invest in a case. Amazon is also running a sale on official covers. The Kindle Basic cover is $5 off. The Kindle Paperwhite fabric cover is $5 off as well, and the leather cover is $8 off.
The current generation Kindle Oasis 3 is not on sale, Amazon really never discounts it. This leaves the previous generation Kindle Oasis 2 and the only thing you are missing out on with this model is the color temperature system. The previous generation Oasis is currently available for $174, which is solid, considering the normal price is $249.
These deals will likely not change when Black Friday or Cyber Monday rolls around, so if you want to purchase a new Kindle as a gift to yourself or someone else, now is the time.
