Barnes and Noble and Kobo are expected to have a number of their e-readers devices on sale for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The two companies have developed landing pages for their deals, but so far there are no products that are listed.
The Barnes and Noble Black Friday page is completely blank, there are a number of links that point various gift guides, but these go to 404 pages. The bookseller is likely to discount their complete line of tablets, as well as the Nook Glowlight 3 and the Nook Glowlight Plus.
The Kobo Black Friday page is even more sparse than the Barnes and Noble one. They are likely to have a number of their e-readers on sale, but Kobo rarely discounts their own products. The lionshare of device sales stem from their bookselling partners such as Indigo Books and Music or Fnac. None of these booksellers have any Black Friday deals for Kobo products either.
Many online retailers have already unveiled most of their Black Friday Deals well ahead of November 29th release date. Amazon announced a bevy of Kindle sales, Walmart, Best Buy, Costco, and many others already have their products discounted and are sending out newsletters. I find it strange that Nook and Kobo products are not already discounted, to give people time to budget or plan what they want to buy.
