Onyx Boox is pushing out a new firmware update (2.3.1) for the Nova 2, Note 2, MAX 3 and Poke 2. The company has added some refreshing, unique features to its system, e-reading software and optimizes some functions for the built-in Note app. There is a Medium post where Onyx has laboriously gone over every single aspect of the new firmware update, you can check that out for more details.

New features

  • Support homepage tab customization;
  • The Floating Toolbar for reading is customizable in functions and sizes;
  • Screen saver type is customizable (this will clear the original screen saver);

  • Add Bing Translate in Reader\Dictionary. (Google Translate is not supported currently. )
