Amazon developed a new typeface called Bookerly that has replaced Caecilia as the new default font for their complete line of e-readers, tablets and their fleet of apps. Bookerly is a serif style of font and is meant to address many of the aesthetic issues surrounding e-book fonts. Today, Amazon pushed out a new update to their Android app that not only gives you the Bookerly font but also access to Wordrunner, which gives you a very unique way to speed read. You can download the updated Kindle app from Google Play or the Good e-Reader App Store.
