There are thousands of wallpaper apps out there, but Google is hoping that you will download their new app. Wallpapers are sorted into categories like Landscapes, Cityscapes, Life, Textures and Earth. Different images are pulled from Google Earth, Google+ and partners like 500px. This app was initially a Pixel Phone exclusive, but you can now download it on any Android smartphone.
Aside from picking out a static or live wallpaper there are a few options in this new app. You can have a new wallpaper posted to your phone each day and if you are using a device that is running Android N, you can set different images for your home screen and lock screen.
Honestly, this app currently performs best if you have a Pixel smartphone. You can tap into the Live Data, Live Earth, and New elements categories. Live Earth is especially interesting because your wallpaper displays a real-time perspective of the globe and where the sun is hitting. The Live Data category features live wallpapers that change based on factors such as the amount of charge your phone has left, how busy your day is, or the weather.
You can download Google Wallpapers from the Good e-Reader App Store.
