Early adopters of the Viewsonic GTab have been complaining about the official company support and mostly had to rely on Android Hacking communities in order to improve issues with the tablet. Finally, Viewsonic has been coming through and they have just released an update that does a ton of new things.
The biggest development in the official firmware update for the GTab is the inclusion of the Adobe Flash Player, so you can play games, watch embedded Youtube videos, and much more. One of the other big deals is that you can now connect a USB Keyboard and USB mouse up to your unit! So if you are one of those people who just can’t use a tablet for work because typing on a touchscreen is so slow, you are now in luck.
Other minor updates include external docking station support, international cities appearing in the weather application, and finally Spanish and French language support.
You can get the latest update for your Viewsonic Tablet by connecting up to WIFI and getting the over the air update. You can also read up on the latest news HERE.
