Some exciting news today for fans of PC World owned by UK chain Dixons Group: two new tablets are going to be released for UK customers this November!
The Advent Amico is a 7 inch tablet computer, running Google Android 2.1. It will have WiFi, a webcam, and is 15mm thick. It will retail around £129.99.
The Advent Vega has a 10.1 inch display and will run Google Android 2.2. The Chipset included in this model will have is a dual core Nvidia Tegra 2 and will have a 1.3 Mega Pixel Webcam and WI-FI. Also included is multitouch support and a 10 hour battery. Popular sites such as BBC iPlayer, gaming sites, MySpace, Yahoo! Mail and YouTube can all be accessed with ease on the new Advent Vega. It will retail for around £249.99.

Currys and PC World will have a full range of tablets in their stores, spanning customers’ differing needs and budgets from November 1st.
