Amazon is now shipping out their first Android tablet of 2016, the Fire HD 8. It has received great coverage so far from Cnet, Tech Times, and Good e-Reader.
The Fire 8 HD features an 8 inch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 and 189 PPI. Underneath the hood is a Quad-core 1.3 GHz processor and 1.5 GB of RAM. There are two different options for internal storage: 32 GB or 64 GB. There is also an SD card so you can increase it up to 200 GB. This is the first tablet to use Amazon Alexa, but it will not be available for a few weeks and only to American residents.
