Visual Fan, a little known company that operates out of Brasov, Romania has come up with a new tablet PC – the Allview AllDro that will further add to the ever growing Android tablet crowd.
The tablet is in the 7 inch category (one that is witnessing the majority of the action) and the company is not shying away from playing the price card. Each Allview AllDro is expected to cost €200 when it goes on sale next month which, needless to say, is a whole lot cheaper than the much hyped Samsung Galaxy Tab.
However, details of the Allview AllDro are scant at best. The only thing that we know of the tablet is that it would have a 800Mhz processor at it heart, 2 GB of internal memory, mini HDMI and USB ports as well as a microsd card slot that will allow for expansion of storage capacity to a maximum of 32 GB. The Allview AllDro right now can connect to the internet with only Wi-Fi, though the company has announced a 3G version is on the way. As for its battery life, company sources have revealed it will be good enough for 6 hours of continuous tablet operation with the Wi-Fi turned on, or 30 hours of music playback.
Also, the Allview AllDro will run the Android operating system, the exact version is yet to be revealed. The tablet will be manufactured in China as per specifications laid down by Visual Fan.
As for the company itself, Visual Fan had only started selling dual sim phones manufactured in China in 2008. All of its products carry the brand name ‘Allview’ and the Allview AllDro is the first attempt at a tablet device for the company.
With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
