It seems something is wrong with some of the Verizon marked iPad 2s. Apple is asking those Verizon iPad 2s that fall within a specific range of serial numbers to be shipped back to it. All Apple stores are currently complying with this regulation and have been asked to do so until July 11th. Those iPad 2s that are currently shipping also come within the purview of the regulation while those who have placed their orders for the latest Apple tablet have been served a “returned to sender” notice by the FedEX.
There is no word either from Apple or Verizon as to what might have gone wrong or on whose side the fault lies. In any case, this is not the first time Verizon iPad 2s has encountered unexpected problems. In April, a lot of Verizon iPad 2s hit the spotlight on the back of allegations claiming they were not able to log back in to the Verizon 3G network after having logged out. Apple had then acknowledged the problem and had worked out a solution for it.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
