Asus today put to rest all rumors that said its Transformer Prime tablet has been hit by the delay bug, claiming the world’s first quad core tablet is very much on track for a December launch. This no doubt is a very welcome piece of news, more so when almost every online retailer is reporting to have been sold out of the new tablet.
It appears that online vendor NCIX have sold out of the Transformer Prime and after it cancelled many orders word was there on the street that ASUS had belated the much awaited tablet because of Wi-Fi issues. The good thing though is that Asus was quick to respond and denied any of such things while speaking to slashgear.
“We are trying to confirm who released this statement and for what purpose right now. At this point, we still show to be on schedule to start shipments the week of 12/19. I will provide an update once I have additional information,” Asus sources revealed.
So as things stand now, the Transformer Prime is all set to break into the big league on 19th December and there shouldn’t be any further ambiguity on that any more after the prompt response from Asus.
With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
