One of the best selling Android tablets that is doing the rounds today is the Asus Eee Pad Transformer and one reason for it to be so is the quite affordable price tag of $400. The other interesting feature of this device is the optional keyboard dock accessory which comes with the device. The docking station not only transforms the tablet into a notebook sort of thing but also includes its own power source, which together with the main battery almost doubles the tablet’s run time.
However, on the flip side, the Transformer does not support 3G mobile broadband connectivity. A listing though did appear in Italy last month that displayed an Eee Pad Transformer with 3G featured in it. Now, Tablet Magazine from the Dutch region have received information that the Transformer with 3G capability would be up for sale in that country in Early October.
However, while definitive information remains scant, a Transformer with 3G capability and 16 GB storage is expected to be available for 499 Euros, which again will head northwards for the additional keyboard or 32 GB storage version of the tablet.
In any case, there are a lot of action upcoming with the Transformer as its already known there is a whole new second gen Transformer under development. Then there will also be a Transformer version that will run the new Windows 8 OS. So plenty of action in the pipeline on the Transformer platform.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
