A product deleyed is generally bad news, but then more often than not things are found on the wrong side of shipping deadlines. The latest to fall prey to this distasteful trend is the Eee Slate EP121 from ASUS. The Windows 7 running tablet has gone on sale just a day ago but is no where to be found just a day later. It’s not clear if unprecedented demand for the ASUS tablet has gobbled up all the pieces that were available in a day.
The Windows Store that is selling the higher end 64 GB version of the Eee Slate EP121 is now showing a new revised shipping date – February 28. Things aren’t better with the other retailer, Amazon, which is offering both the 32 GB and the 64 GB versions of the Eee Slate EP12. Amazon is flashing the ‘Temporary Out of Stock’ sign with shipping slated to begin when fresh stocks arrive. However, there is no time line mentioned as to when we can expect that to happen. Both the sites are currently accepting pre-orders though. So if you think you can wait, you know where to head to.
The 32 GB version of the Eee Slate EP121 costs $999 while the same with 64 GB of on board storage stands at $1099.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
