Some more FCC news. This time it’s the UK based electronics gadget maker Binatone that is making things a bit hectic for the FCC. They are now having to deal with the latest Binatone creation, the HomeSurf 8 Android tablet.
As usual, details about the Binatone tablet are scant at best and the only few bits that we know is the HomeSurf 8 will have an 8 inch 800 x 600 resolution display. Internal memory will be all of 2 GB though there is an SD card slot to ensure there is no dearth of storage space. For connecting to the Internet, options are limited to just Wi-Fi as there is no mention of a 3G modem being integrated into the device. A good thing about the HomeSurf 8 is that the tablet will have support for the Aldiko e-book store.
The tablet will come bundled with a charging speaker dock that holds the device in an upright position while it gets recharged.
Further details about the tablet is awaited, especially since it seems to be a contender in the budget tablet segment.
With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
