The Blackberry Playbook is certainly one eagerly anticipated device. Expected to launch in the first quarter of next year, hopefully with some great new applications to play with! Why? The Developer and Vendor portal for App world is now available for programmers the world over to submit their applications.
We reported last month via the Adobe Max conference that people who had applications approved prior to the launch of the Playbook, those people would receive free Play Book Tablet PC‘s! That certainly sweetens the deal for prospective developers to make some great apps for us.
We have confirmed reports as well, that the process to submit applications for the Playbook do not differ greatly from the submission process for RIM smartphones. Normally for Blackberry phones you want to submit your applications in .COD files, the Playbook uses .BAR
