The BlackBerry PlayBook and its lucrative $199 price tag will be back soon, though only after Christmas is over. Retailers have been offering a steep discount on the PlayBook to make it more appealing to consumers, and the offer is going to be back again. After Christmas, a sales promotion that Sprint wishes to embark on will feature the PlayBook once again offered for $199. The period will be from the 26th of December until January 7th.
Meanwhile, experts estimate the total number of PlayBook tablet PCs shipped since its launch is a not-so-bad 850,000 units. The company shipped only about 150,000 units in the quarter ending November 26th, 2011 though the same for the previous quarter has been 200,000 units of the PlayBook, while for the quarter before that, RIM had shipped a staggering 500,000 units of the PlayBook. All of that totals up to 850,000 units of the PlayBook, and the price cut measures adopted during the last few weeks helped retailers to clear up stocks of the 7 inch tablet.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
