We have received reports that popular website Crunchgear received a document from a tipser sheds some light on the new Android Tablet Cisco is developing.
Although this document does not shed too much light on the hardware aspects of the Cius, we do know that the entry level price tag will set you back about $1,000 and it will come bundled with Google Android 2.2.
We also know that Cisco has claimed that they will stay on-top of all future Google Android releases.
Some of the most interesting facets of this leaked document, is that Cisco is claiming that this is not a consumer device. It is marketed towards a more corporate and business market. Cisco is not billing this as competition to the Apple iPad or the Samsung Galaxy Tab. It will act like a laptop in a board meeting and will come bundled with a ton of different Cisco branded communication software wrapped over the Android OS. It will also let IT teams lock out the Android market and other core features offered by the device.
