As is already known, Readmoo and PocketBook have come together for the time ever to launch an e-note device which they have named Color Note. We now. have new information about this upcoming product, including full tech specs. Read on to find out more about the Color Note.
Featuring a 10.3-inch Kaleido 3 panel with a resolution of 1404 × 1872 and 227 PPI for black and white content and 702 x 936 and 113 PPI for color. The Color Note comes with a front light feature based on the E Ink ComfortGaze technology that adjusts automatically as per ambient light available. That said, you can also adjust the brightness and color temperature manually if you so wish. There is considerably less blue light emitted which together with its paper-like attribute makes it extremely safe for the eyes.
The Color Note otherwise sports a simple design where you have thinner bezels on the sides while having a thicker forehead and chin. It comes with a built-in speaker which you can use to listen to music or audiobooks, for which it is compatible with 6 audio formats. With support for Bluetooth (ver 5.2) connectivity, you can also attach external speakers or headphones as well if you so wish. Plus, with the speech-to-text feature, you can choose to listen to documents and other files instead of reading them.
Coming to software, the Color Note runs Android 12 and allows for the installation of third-party apps via the Google Play Store. Besides, the e-note device also comes pre-loaded with Readmoo Reading and mooSound along with other convenient apps such as Notes, Reader, browser, audio player, computer, File Manager, Images, and so on. It supports almost all known e-book and audiobook formats along with JPEG, BMP, and PNG image files.
Under the hood, the Color Note comes with a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor that is coupled with 4 GB of LPDDR4 memory and 32 GB eMMC storage of which 24 gigs is available to the user. You can further add storage of up to 256 GB via external memory cards. Power comes from a 4000 mAh battery which is rated to last several weeks at least on a single charge. The stylus it comes with supports 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity. Other features of the e-note come with include a microphone and a USBType-C port.
The Color Note measures 173.5 × 246 × 6.4mm and weighs 390 grams. Pre-orders are currently live and will remain open till July 24, 2024. The ColorNote is priced at NT$20,888, which translates to USD 643 as per current exchange rates.
