Here is some good news for Dell Streak owners, though it has been long overdue. The upgrade to the more advanced Android 2.2 Froyo is now finally available on the Streak running on the AT&T and Rogers Canada network. The notification should be coming soon and the upgrade will be available over the air.
Also, with the upgrade to the more recent Android 2.2, there are a host of features that will benefit the user experience. There will be an overall improvement in performance of the smartphone/Tablet combo, including a longer battery life. The coming of the Android Froyo will also make the Streak compatible with Adobe Flash 10.1 along with an enhanced Microsoft Exchange support.
The phone dialer will be more responsive than before. The Streak can also be able to operate as a portable Wi-Fi hotspot and will have live wallpapers. With the Froyo on board, the Streak will now open up to apps such as the native Twitter client, Skype for Android and the Firefox Beta browser.
You will have more info about the upgrade here.
With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
