Fujitsu’s recent revelation of a waterproof tablet did create some excitement in the tablet segment. Why not, for here finally is a tablet device that you can carry not only to the poolside but maybe into the pool itself. Or if you love to get drenched in the rain once in a while, the Fujitsu F-01D won’t get in the way.
However, for all of these to become a reality, one has to wait until the 10 inch Android tablet gets past FCC and is ready for a market launch. The tablet will only be Wi-Fi compliant in the US, and one explanation for that is Fujitsu is trying to get an FCC certification just to ensure those entering the US with the Fujitsu tablet will have it easy. The tablet right now is a Japan only affair, and there is no official word yet from its Japanese manufacturer as to when it would be seen on the other side of the Pacific.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
