The HP TouchPad is likely to be seen on store shelves from June onwards. This is the hottest rumor that is going round the web right now. Further, the rumor mills are also pegging the price of each unit of the TouchPad at about $699, which if true won’t be bad as it undercuts the XOOM price by a good $100.
While the official release date as well as the pricing structure will be eagerly awaited, what is also interesting is that the latest piece of rumor is bringing back memories from last year when there also was a rumor of the HP Slate to be ready for its market debut in June. That it did not materialize is a different matter altogether. While we did get the HP Slate, it wasn’t what it was expected to be – a true iPad competitor. Instead, its now almost a year later that we are finally about to have the right device that can take the battle right up to the Apple camp.
More on this is awaited, so keep watching this space.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
