CyanogenMod 9 has come out with the Alpha 0 build of Android Ice Cream Sandwich for the TouchPad that seems to be hitting headlines more headline post its death than when it was alive. A lot of things are working post the update though, as it usually is with Alpha builds, there will always be some that serves to test our patience. However, in this case, a lot of things are indeed working which also includes the tablet’s connectivity functions such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth which among the things that aren’t working is the ToucPad’s camera. Video playback on the tablet is another issue that too needs some attention and hopefully will be sorted out in the future release soon.
Till then, its not too bad an experience that awaits on the other side of the CyanogenMod 9 Alpha 0 update to all TouchPad owners who’d like to have Android 4.0 ICS on their device.
Meanwhile, here is also a video of a TouchPad running Android ICS to let you have a feel of what to expect post the update.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
