WebOS’ fate might be hanging in balance right now but has just received a fresh lease of life with a new update just made available. However, WebOS 3.0.5 is not about any massive upgrade and shouldn’t be expected to bring along a huge improvement in performance.
However, the update still brings along some nice changes. Like the update is supposed to be addressing the issues of HTML 5 video which did not playback in all screen orientations but will now do post the update. Then one will also receive alerts when going low on disk space while two spaces would be inserted after the period symbol. Not much significant changes these are but nevertheless likable. There will be some bug fixes too with the update while it will also enable support for those applications which uses the new sensor API for use with PDK.
In the end, the TouchPad may have ceased to exist though its nice to see HP is still pushing updates for the WebOS. This in spite of it being a known fact that there are hectic preparations currently on to make the TouchPad Android compliant. So those who are still hanging on to WebOS on their TouchPads, well they have been rewarded with WebOS version 3.0.5.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
