Huawei is all set to unveil its latest and most advanced tablet PC, the MediaPad, at an event planned in Singapore on the 20th of this month. While the world waits for the release of the MediaPad, the company has in the meantime already announced its desire to launch the tablet in India in the next quarter, as pointed out by the Huawei India Marketing director Anand Narang. The Ideos S7 tablet that was launched earlier in the year at the Mobile World Congress will also be on offer.
The MediaPad, as Huawei has earlier pointed out, will be the company’s “smartest, smallest and lightest tablet ever.” Also, while the company is maintaining a strict silence on the MediaPad until it is launched, it is believed that the tablet will feature a 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor. With a 7 inch sized display, the MediaPad is also likely to have 5 MP rear camera besides running the latest Android 3.1 Honeycomb.
The Ideos 7 on the other hand runs Android 2.2 Froyo and includes features such as WiFi and Bluetooth, along with support for HD 720p video playback. The Ideos 7 Slim also sports a 7 inch display and is an enhanced version of the original Ideos 7 with a better and slimmer build.
Expect to hear more on this soon.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
