Instagram has been an iOS exclusive for many moons and just got official Android support in the last few weeks. It has experienced three updates in rapid succession and the latest build adds support for Android Tablets that have cameras. Apologies to Blackberry Playbook owners, this will not work on your device!
So what exactly is Instagram? Android and e-Reader owners might feel a bit out of touch on what this is all about. Basically it applies filters to your camera when you take pictures and has features to enhance the photos. You can make them look retro and then submit them to social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram’s own project. Users can vote on what pictures they like and it becomes a fun way to kill some down time.
You can download Instagram for our own Good e-Reader App Store HERE.
