The iPad 2, like many Apple products, are perpetually sold out or out of stock. This time, the familiar script played out in China where it took four hours for the new gen Apple tablet to fly off of shelves. The apple store in Beijing opened to hundreds of eager visitors and scalpers. Also present were security staff to ensure things remain in control given the huge turnaround.
However, the Wi-Fi iPad 2 is currently being offered in China with prices starting at 3688 yuan or about $568 for the base 16 GB model. The iPad 2 is unique in that the tablet is available in both black and white color schemes though it seems its the white iPad 2 that is more popular. Scalpers made the most of the huge demand and were eager to give up their stock of iPad 2s for anything from $30 to $60 (200-400 yuan) above the listed price. Elsewhere in Asia, the iPad 2 sales opened to less enthusiastic crowds as the popular Apple tablet took almost a week to get sold out in countries like South Korea, Singapore, and Hong Kong.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
