That the market will soon be inundated with tablets running the latest Tegra 3 chip is all too evident, much in the same manner as we have seen Tegra 2 units doing the same during the entire 2010. Also, that Lenovo is upto developing a tablet based on the quad core processor is all too common knowledge though what did come as a surprise is that the Lenovo tablet might come along sooner than expected.
In fact, Digitimes is reporting the tablet might go into production from next month itself with Pegatron as the manufacturing partner. Also, while almost all about the upcoming tablet is still shrouded in mystery, what is being speculated about the tablet is that it will come with a 10 inch display, an NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor, up to 2 GB of RAM. Also, the upcoming Lenovo tablet might be named ‘K2’, perhaps a successor to Lenovo’s IdeaPad K1. However, what is almost a certainty is that the tablet will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
