While LG might be in the news for its Windows 7 tablet device, the company though would like us to believe an Android powered tablet continues to be in its tablet plans. To drive home the point, the second largest consumer electronics company from South Korea has come up with firm plans outlining its Android tablet project, announcing a Gingerbread powered device would be up and running within the first quarter of next year.
However, there isn’t a lot of information on the tablet‘s availability as of now, two things we do know is that the tablet will have a 8.9 inch display and will be built around a Dual Core nVidia Tegra 2 Processor.
Keep watching for more on what is likely to be called the LG Pad.
