The first Tablet PC offering from Linpus is based on the MeeGo Linux operating system. You may not have heard of Linux before, but they were responsible for some of Acer’s early operating system for their class of netbooks.
Although specs are not yet known for this device, it will be running on the MeeGo 1.1 operating system that is due out this October. It will come with 7 applications that will be able to be interacted with via Swiping and pinching gestures. It will have a Web Browser, Media Player, Photo Viewer, E-Book reading software, Email, Google Maps and a Contact list.
