There is high probability of Apple using a different technology for their future iPad’s. This given the fact that vendors from Taiwan with whom Apple have placed their orders for the LED displays have mentioned about the use of a different backlight technology that Apple have contracted them for. This would also conform to the rumors that have been making the rounds about Apple doing some changes for getting its HD resolution display with its next version of iPad tablets.
The options before Apple is to use the present technology wherein one single LED light bar is being used with greater brightness. The other option is for Apple to go for a twin LED chip else the third option is that of using dual-LED light bars.
While the coming of the next gen iPad 3 seems fairly settled to take place during the first half of 2012, the focus has now shifted to the display the new iPad will come with. Like we have come across reports last month of Apple trying to have in place a super high resolution touchscreen, one with a massive 2,048 x 1,536 pixels. The last we have heard is that manufacturers are having a hard time keeping up to Apple’s demands for such high resolution displays for the iPad 3.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
