Digitimes is reporting that component making companies in Taiwan are estimating that non Apple iPad Tablets are looking to ship out close to 20 to 30 million units in 2011.
2011 will surely prove that Tablet Computers are not merely a fad, but a new way to interact with our devices, and most tablet computers will be more powerful then netbooks and most lower end laptops.
Many component makers have forecast massive sales for 2011, including; Inventec with the HP Slate, Qisda with the Dell Streak, Pegatron Technology makers of the Asus EEE Pad, Quanta Computing with the Blackberry Playbook, Wistron with the LePad and even Acer is getting in on the action dealing with three different companies (Quanta, Compal Electronics and Wistron)
Although all of the new tablets coming out in 2011, will be priced lower then the industry leading Apple iPad, vendors believe that it will be harder to attain profits based on competitive pricing.
