We reported a few weeks ago that that Notion Ink CEO Rohan Shravan was going to be picking up the final versions of the Notion Ink Adam from the manufacturing factory in China. It now looks like we now have a clear indication on how the final version will look like.
Although this version is not the commercial release version, Notion Ink has a time line of Oct 22 for the colors picked by the community we reported on. Notion Ink is soliciting customers opinions on the different colors they want to see the Adam debut in. After that, in early November the final Production units will begin to roll out from the factory into our eagerly awaiting hands.
Also, we have some new confirmed specs for the Notion Ink Adam; it looks like 1GB of DDRII 667MHz memory, double what’s inside the Samsung Galaxy Tab and four-times what’s inside the iPad.
Notion Ink also confirmed various facets that were very important to the next integration of design, like multi-tasking the way it should be, optimization on memory while multi-tasking (there is no point to have 100 screens open and no RAM to run them!). It understands what the user wants from an application when multi-tasking and creates a unique method of window management and design for touch.
