Amazon has released a new Kindle Reading application for the HP TouchPad! This a great boon for owners of the WebOS tablet that want to tap into the Amazon ecosystem. Initially the Amazon application was pulled from the app market for some last minute changes, but now is officially released.
Kindle for TouchPad gives you the ability to read and buy books directly from Amazon. It provides their patented Whispernet technology which will automatically sync books you purchase. If you have bookmarked or read books on other Kindle devices, this will be all maintained when you use the TouchPad version of the app. Also if you have purchased books from Amazon, all you need to do is use the same account information and your entire library will be imported.
