With the new and much improved iPad 2 now in the thick of things and making waves, it is still entirely sensible to choose the first gen iPad. Of course, the economic factor has made the iPad all the more attractive, while the more powerful, lighter, and thinner avatar continues to hog the limelight.
So just how cheap is it? Well, Verizon is currently offering the 16 GB WiFi version of the iPad for as low as $299.99 only while the 32 GB Wi-Fi iPad will cost $100 more at $399.99. Similarly, the top end 64 GB Wi-Fi version of the iPad now costs $499.99, which brings it nearly level with the low end iPad 2 version.
The price cut is an obvious attempt to clear the last remaining stocks of the first gen iPad and will continue only as far as stocks last. Also, the price is not expected to go down any lower, which makes now the right moment to pick up the iPad.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
