Pionner Computers, the Australian PC maker, has added another tablet to their DreamBook ePad series of tablets. The new tablet has been named ePad B10 and joins the DreamBook ePad A10 launched earlier this year in the 10 inch category.
The ePad B10 is another one in the 10 inch category and comes with a 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 resolution LED backlit multi-touch display. The B10 offers two choices of processors – either an 1.3GHz Intel Celeron M 743 or a Core Duo 1.4GHz Intel Solo SU3500 CULV processor. Coupled to the processor is a 4GB RAM, and a rather massive 500GB HDD or 256GB SSD. For handling graphics files efficiently, the B10 also includes a dedicated Intel GMA X4500 graphics card.
Feature wise, the B10 has lots to offer, like a 1.3-megapixel webcam, an HDMI port along with 2 integrated stereo speakers. Connectivity options include WiFi and Bluetooth while there also are four USB 2.0 ports. WiMAX is an optional extra. There’s also a G-sensor built into the tablet.
The B10 measures 251mm x 108mm x 17mm while weighing 850gm. On the battery front, a 4900mAH unit does its duty and can sustain operation for 6 hours. Pioneer Computers’ have priced the DreamBook ePad B10 at AU$899.
With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
