For BlackBerry PlayBook users who had been waiting for the OS 2.0 version, there is the beta version now available at the BlackBerry site. The beta has been numbered 2.0.0.7111.
However, the latest update is aimed primarily at developers to let them test out their apps before the final PlayBook OS 2.0 is made available. PlayBook OS 2.0 is scheduled to arrive February 17, though there already are a few features like predictive text and autocorrect that would be of interest in the beta version. These apart, there already are reports of the Playbook working faster, with the Android applications also working smoothly after the beta upgrade.
PlayBook owners will have to register their device at the BlackBerry site to avail of the update. The PlayBook also has been provided with a lot of discounts and promotional offers, all aimed at increasing its sales and all of that has surely managed to push the 7 inch tablet from store shelves to consumers’ hands.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
