The Ricoh eQuill is now that bit closer to its market debut as a product’s appearance at the FCC usually signifies. The missing piece of the puzzle though is the exact launch date or the price in exchange of which you can call it your own. However, that can’t stop many from speculating and the eQuill business tablet is slated to sport a price tag of $500 once it reaches market.
As for its specs, its enticing to say the least. Like the tablet will be powered by a TI OMAP 3621 processor which will function in conjugation with a 256 MB RAM. The tablet will comes with a display measuring 9.7 inches having a resolution of 1280 x 825 pixels. What makes the tablet unique from among the dime a dozen such devices that flood the markets is its E-Ink based display. So its not meant for outright entertainment but more suited for application in a business environment. For this, the eQuill tablet also includes a stylus meant for text input. The tablet also features 8 GB internal storage which Ricoh claims is good enough for storing 25,000 pages.
These apart, the eQuill also packs in a 5 megapixel camera as well as a voice recorder while there also is a virtual keypad for making on-screen inputs. The tablet measures 7.4 x 9.7 x 0.4 and weighs about 1.1 pounds.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
