The latest rumor is that Motorola is launching a 10 inch tablet to directly compete against the Apple iPad 2.
The Motorola Xoom is currently the best Android Tablet so far of 2011, but did not get the kind of sales the company was expecting. They recently cut the price from $599 to $499 just a few days ago and just pushed a firmware update to finally get the SD Card working.
The Motorola Xoom 10 inch tablet is said to be using the new Nvidia Tegra 3 processor! If you have never heard of project “Kal El” check out our Computex footage where we got exclusive hands on with it.
The Xoom 2 or Xoom 10 inch is said to have a better resolution than most tablets on the market, with 2048 x 1536 pixels. Another rumor is that the tablet will forgo Honeycomb and go with the Ice Cream Sandwich.
No word on release date, but we can be sure to see something by the time IFA rolls around in September.
