While early reports did point to a bit hefty price tag of the Galaxy Pad tablet for the European market, those awaiting the Samsung 7 inch tablet in the US can be considered more fortunate. For as per the latest tablet PC news coming in, price for the same in the US is likely to be around the $200 to $400 mark. And of course this substantial drop in price can be attributed to the subsidies that the carriers come along with. In fact, some Samsung officials are even known to have stated the cost of the Galaxy Pad will only be ‘slightly more’ than the Galaxy smartphone that the South Korean electronics giant has launched a few week ago. It will be interesting to note, the Galaxy smartphone costs around $200 in the US.
Meanwhile, there are also reports of the GalaxyPad riding into the land of Uncle Sam via Vodafone though nothing is confirmed as yet.
