This coming month seems to be an exciting time for the release of new tablets. South Korean conglomerate Samsung seems to be on a tablet overdrive and they have another new tablet awaiting launch in March.
The first country to get it is Japan! They will have the first taste of the Samsung SMT-I9100, which will be sold via domestic telecom operator KDDI. First unveiled last October (and has almost vanished since), the Samsung SMT-I9100 will run Android 2.2 Froyo and will be in the 7 inch category of tablets.
As for features, the SMT-I9100 will come with 4 GB of on board storage along with 512 MB of RAM. There will also be a Micro SD card slot along with a 2 megapixel webcam. The 7 inch multi touch display will have a WSVGA resolution of 1024 × 600 pixels – the same as on the similar sized Galaxy Tab. Connectivity options with the SMT-I9100 will comprise of Bluetooth, Wi-Fi as well as CDMA 1x Win 3G.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
