Samsung has set themselves a sales target of 10 millions Galaxy Pad tablet which they want to achieve by the third quarter of next year, a figure that will translate to about a third of the tablet market by then. Ambitious it might seem, but that will translate to less than a million tablets if the 7 inch device goes on sale right now or about a million units of the tablet every months if it starts shipping from the end of this year. In any case, the target does seem moderate and quite achievable considering the craze that’s surrounding the tablet right now.
The tablet is expected to reach American shores within a few months and cost around $200 to $400. However, Samsung has yet to come up with firm price details of their highly desirable tablet, though it did mention there is an entire family of Galaxy Tab devices in the offing. There is already the Galaxy smartphone as well as the 7 inch Galaxy Pad tablet and as per the latest revelation from Samsung, there will be many more coming our way.
With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
